Terms of membership

Ordinary Members (individuals who support the Objective of the Association as expressed in the Constitution) shall be admitted to membership of the Association on payment of the annual subscription. They shall have the right to vote at any General Meeting of the Association. Corporate Members (organizations which desire to support the Objective of the Association) shall be admitted on such terms as are laid down by the Association from time to time. Each Corporate Member represented shall be entitled to one vote at any General Meeting of the Association. Corporate Members should contact the BAJS Secretariat for membership information rather than applying for membership online.

The Association reserves the right to vet and reject membership applications even after payment has been received. In this unusual event, BAJS will return the membership subscription (but not any additional processing charges incurred by the member) promptly to the individual concerned: reimbursement will be by cheque, in UK sterling.

A member may at any time resign from the Association by notifying the Secretary in writing. Resigning members shall be liable for any subscription due at the time of resignation.
