  • Vacancy: Tanaka Junior Research Fellowship in Japanese Studies, Pembroke College, Oxford

    The Tanaka JRF in Japanese will be expected to conduct original research in their chosen field and to contribute to the development of Japanese studies at Pembroke College. Optionally, and by agreement with the Fellow in Japanese, they may provide undergraduate teaching, participate in admissions and supervise undergraduate dissertations. The JRF will also be expected to engage with the community of scholars and students in Japanese across the University and will assist with the organization of the Tanaka Lecture Series/Tanaka Symposium in Japanese studies.

  • Call for Papers for the 11th Women in Asia Conference

    Women in the Asian Century: Challenges and Possibilities With a particular thematic focus on 'Gender-Based Violence', the 2017 WIA conference aims to draw together scholars and activists working on this issue in Asia and Australia, to foster a discussion on the various challenges and strategies involved in addressing Violence Against Women in different contexts.
