Traveling around Sheffield

Once in Sheffield, most of our city centre hotels are within walking distance of the train station but taxis are available outside of the station for those who have further to go, for example, if you choose to stay at the Rutland or Halifax Hall Hotels. Taxis are run on meters and are reasonably priced. Sheffield also has the Uber taxi service and you will be able to book an Uber cab through the Uber app.

The Supertram stops at the back of the railway station and travels through the city centre and right into the heart of our university campus and a short 5 minute walk from the conference venue. To get from the railway station to the university you will need the yellow train travelling towards Middlewood.
